We found out 6 weeks ago that we are expecting an addition to our little family. When we found out I was already 10 weeks along. Thankfully I didn't experience any morning sickness other then a little dizziness and headaches, so therefore I wasn't aware of the exciting news sooner. My doctor at the time and I were a little concerned because I had been on the pill the whole 10 weeks, so he recommended seeing a fetal specialist to make sure everything was okay. All of my checkups have been perfectly normal. Baby's heartbeat is very healthy. I saw my new doctor today, my previous doctor no longer delivers baby's, so means I'm in the 2nd trimester it was time to switch. My current doctor feels that there is nothing to worry about and I don't need to see the specialist so that is very exciting news. My next visit is in 4 weeks and I will also have a sonogram that day and will find out the sex of our baby. We are hoping for another boy, but will be blessed with God gives us.
As for my Big Boy, we waited until 13 weeks to tell him that he was going to be a big brother. He couldn't be more excited and overjoyed. I truly feel like he is going to be an awesome big brother. He doesn't care if its a boy or girl. He loves talking about how things will be once the baby is born, I can't wait for him ( well all of us) to meet the new baby.
We will also be moving soon, we currently live in a 2 bedroom house. It's not because I don't want them to have to share a bedroom. However I do think that big boy being in 3rd grade next year deserves his own room especially during the school year and we also don't know if it's a boy or girl yet so that matter too...
