Update on booboos!!!

As I posted back in march "Big boy's Big booboo". Big Boy had gotten into a fight with my sisters drive way, well as we all know Big boy lost. Well he has scars but funny thing is... The night it happened he was so upset thought he was gonna die, well now he shows them off, like oh it was no big deal wanna see them!! LOL!!!

Someone told me that there was something that helped with scars but I honestly think that he gives him some character. Well Big boy as you all know is my only child, and we aren't really planning on having more. I have my moments when I want more, but Awesome guy is pretty content with Big boy, well knowing this and the fact that he will 6 this year....:(. I took photos of him while he was sleeping, so I could remember when he was still little, they are really cute!!!

Shortly after that I was caught and thank goodness my big boy likes having photos taken of him so this is what I got.

Summer Activities

Over the summer Big Boy was enrolled in several fun activities. We enrolled in a Soccer program, with the program he didn't get to play any actual games, just fun playing with a small group of children. They all get to learn the fundamentals of the game, the tricks and turns of learning to be a really great soccer player. Big Boy is really interested in the game at the moment so he is really loving it. He gets to go to it twice a week. He is really getting better at ball handling and all the fun stuff.

We also enrolled him into swimming lessons, for those of you who didn't know Big Boy was terrified of water. Not like I can't get him in the bathtub, but at my nephew's birthday party last year it took him an hour and a half to get him in the swimming pool, in which he had to be held very tightly the whole time. So awesome guy and I decided that maybe swimming lesson would help. We also bought him a pool, a little up to not even my knee pool, but to Big Boy it is huge, we it took him a very long time to just sit down. Well he didn't pass swimming lessons but he can now.........

• Get in the water all by himself in the shallow end.
• Go underwater with and without holding his nose.
• and swimming underwater in his pool with the snorkle.

Now like I said he didn't pass but he did what I wanted him to and so I'm pretty proud oh him.

We also enrolled him in a Tball program, for the month of June all they did was learn about the game and what to do. Well for 2 weeks he has games and he is really doing a really great job.

I'll post about the games later, but I think that Big Boy is turning into a little sports star!!!

Updating

Okay so I've been slacking and I haven't posted to 2 months sorry.... Well lets get updated and then I'll start keeping up... hopefully!!!

Where to begin??? So since the last time we talked Big boy did British soccer camp. He loved it, two gentlemen from England came down and taught the kids all the fundamental of soccer which awesome guy and I thought would be great for big boy because when he was on the regular soccer team when they started having games they stopped having practices. It was really funny, the teachers would call it football and big boy thinking that he knows it all would say it's call soccer and laugh really hard!! How funny.... It was a 5 day class and some of the days had themes.

This is super hero day, Big boy is in the dark Vader mask. The had to big super hero costumes for their coaches to dress up in.

It was a really great experience for him, so if they offer it next year, we will probably let him do it again, he really liked it!!

I also went on vacation doing this period, I was able to do a lot of things with my nieces, nephew, mom, and big boy. We took the kiddos to the zoo, to see the new tigers.

The kids had a really great time. After the zoo we head back because DPD my nephew had a Baseball game that night.

If I remember correctly I think he's team won that night, well we let there and came back to my house where all the kids spent the night with me. In the morning mom came back down, we all went to the parks. We went to the park in the next town over where there is a big train that the kids can play on. Then we came back and then we came back and went to the big park in town.

We had a lot of fun at that park too, by the time we left everyone was really tired and cranky. So we left there to go to TAD's softball game which was 30 minutes away from where they live. Well it ended up raining so they stopped the game for a half an hour to see if it would let up, well they were able to finish up the game. However do to the fact that my camera is my baby, I left it in the car after that so it didn't get rained on so I really didn't get any good photos.

Well a couple of days later Mom, Big boy and I came down to watch MRD play a Tball game, watching her play Tball was the cutest thing ever!!

She's not the greatest at hitting off the T, but she was really fun to watch, and I'm pretty sure she was having a blast!!!!

Well the rest of the week was pretty slow, one of my other nephews birthday party was that Saturday.

The next day my SIL, came to visit so Big Boy, JMW and JMW2, went to the castle park and then they got to swim in the pool that we bought for big boy to help him with his fear of water.

The poor boys were all hot and sweaty that's why they went swimming.

This was my last day of vacation. We had so much fun.

Big boy's Spring Sing

Well Big boy had his spring concert yesterday for school, it's so hard to believe that the school year is almost over! So the classes sang 8 songs, the must of been practicing for a while and big boy did a very nice job keeping it a secret on which songs they were doing!!!

Okay so Big boy decided that he didn't like doing the normal gestures that everyone else is doing so he broke out into the robot. I was laughing so hard I was crying, it was very difficult to take photos like that but somehow I managed, I did however have to wipe my viewfinder off at least twice.
Well come to find out we weren't the only ones amused by big boys actions. A couple of friends said that it was the cutest thing they had ever seen. I was still having people coming up to me to tell me that they could keep from watching bigboy and they loved him doing the robot...



It's really hard for me to believe that big boy will be in kindergarten next year, I really find it very sad!! Oh well we have a very busy fun filled summer ahead of us. We have decided to enroll him in swimming lessons (somehow he is so scared of the pool), more soccer, on top of the british soccer camp and we are going let him try T-ball hopefully he is better at that then I was and he will be able to go around the T!! I'll keep you posted!!

Mommy's big helper

My Big boy is going through that "I wanna help you mommy" phase. I'm not quite sure weather I like this or not, you see for those of you who don't know me very well I'm very picky about the way things are done. So it takes everything I have to just say "Thank you bub, you did great" and then waiting till he runs off to fix so I don't hurt his feeling and also so he doesn't give up...

Well last night I decided that Big boy could help with Dinner well Breakfast for Dinner, if he wanted to, I don't want to force him into anything. It should fun for him or he is going to hate it.

Step#1 Cracking open the eggs..

He was being so careful!! I'm really proud of the fact that our eggs didn't have eggshells in them!! Good Job Big boy.


Step#2: Scrambling the eggs


Big boy needed some help on this part he couldn't get it whisked up enough to break up the yolks but he got really close!!

Step#3: We like to make a type of scrambler so we add the bacon to the eggs

(oh I cheated so Big boy could think that he was helping on every part of breakfast so we cooked the bacon in the microwave, he's just not ready for cooking bacon on the stovetop quite yet)

I was a little impressed with the fact that he didn't sneak a bite, he's a lot like his daddy when it comes to bacon, loves it and doesn't mind stealing other people's pieces!!

And Congratulations Big boy you just completed your first meal!! Very cute!!! I'm gonna turn him into a very nice husband for someone , someday!! He also took the trashcan to the house from the curb!!!

I blew that out of proportion!!!

I had my scope done today, it really wasn't as bad as I convienced myself it would be, go figure, I'm really good about doing that... Waiting to go into the room was the worst, well that and not eatting or drinking anything all morning. So they bring me into this room make me lay down and put an IV into my hand, a blood pressure cuff on my arm, a thingy on my finger, and an oxygen tube. Before I knew was going on I was out of it, I do remember them spraying my throat with something awful to numb it. I finally woke up in recovery later, where they made me drink hot water to make sure I could swollow. She then put me in a wheel chair and wheeled me to awesome guys truck. The doctor informed him that I don't have ulcers, which is what I thought I had. I have a Hiatus hernia so I have a script that I have to take for a month, now hopefully it is the problem, and not something that is the results of the problems.

Fun Filled Weekend

So We had a very interesting and activity weekend. Starting on saturday Big boy had a soccer game in the morning, I mean bright and early 8am. Big boy was really excited to have grandma and his cousing MRD come to watch the soccer game. It was very cold at the game.

She's a little ball of fire and there is never a dull moment around her!!

Well Big boy and MRD went back to grandma's house with her so awesome guy could get some sleep he had worked all night and stayed up to make it to bigboys soccer game. Well after I got off work, we went to grandmas and papas house to spend time with them. We all played outside and Awesome guy and papa worked on the trees over grandmas house and the kids and I jumped on the trampoline.

They play so well together, only a little over a year apart in age, they are about the same size, and they are so cute.

Aunt RawRaw, that's me, I recieved that name when my oldest neice was little. I love having that name and i'm not even sure why. it's so cute. MRD still doesn't know I have a real name!!!

So MRD and big boy wanted to have a sleepover at grandmas house so they were both spending the night with mom. Boy I bet she had her hands full, however she said they were good.

The next day after work Awesome guy and I went back up to my mom's to get big boy and spend some more time with them. Well Awesome guy and papa stayed at grandma's house to work on some computers. Grandma, Big boy and I decided to take MRD home and I bought a purse from the rhinestone cowgirls and I want to pick it up. Well my sister live on a dirt road outside of town, well it was only rain a little bit when we got there but with in minutes it was down pouring. My brother in law informed us that it wasn't wise to drive down the road while it was pouring because of the water currents. Well we waited thinking that I would let up any minute now, Well it just keep going. At like 9:oo at night awesome guy calls to tell me that he is just going to go home from mom and dad's and that the rain wasn't letting up anytime soon. So my brother in law got in his truck to see how the road was, well he came back in the house very shortly and said the ditches were overflowing and the streets were flooded so we were stuck there overnight. In the morning we finally get to leave and mom drove me home, well I was late for work. Big boy and I get home get dressed in a hurry and rush him over to his sitters house, that when I really noticed that I was really going to have a bad day because I couldn't get my car to start after I dropped him off so she had to give me a ride to work.Well my weekend was anything but boring!!!
